Etisalat Daily Facebook plan is a scam!

Mymobnet! Team recently tested the Etisalat Daily Facebook plan to know what it is made of. The much appetising plan boasted of giving it’s subscribers access to the mobile Facebook app at N25 per day. The service was fun at first when we opted in especially considering the speed with which Etisalat deducted our N25. No problem with that. Their welcome message reads:

You are now on Daily Facebook plan; click on http://d.fb.me/985 to download app. To opt out of auto-renewal at validity, dial *229*0*0#

But when we began browsing with the Facebook mobile app for Android as theirlink suggests, behold, all the extra cash on our phone got burnt up as fuel would do during the harmattan! Is this our deal, Etisalat? We wondered! Though it was unusual, attempt to get to their customer care proved unsuccessful. We only tested this plan with Android: Samsung Galaxy young pros running Gingerbread system 2.3 Mymobnet! hereby warns her readers to beware of Etisalat Daily Facebook plan!
